Summary
Two fields, centred at sx81334382 and sx81434386, are named in the tithe award 'little berry park' and 'great berry park'. They are situated on the northern side of a re-entrant at about 50m (tithe map cited by os). Vis=17/1/1987 (os). There are no traces of any earthworks in the two 'berry' fields, both under pasture on a 1 in 6 slope. The fields are to one side of a minor spur which, if taken as a whole, would not be unsuitable to some form of prehistoric settlement (os).
