Summary

Pair of gateposts about 30m south west of great lounston farmhouse. Pair of gateposts. Probably late c17 or early c18. Granite. Short square-section posts with lightly moulded tops, each post surmounted by a large ball. The farmhouse itself was rebuilt after a fire in about 1834 (information from mr dick wills of narracombe) (doe).
