Full description

In Duke Street, a three storey 18th century house was surveyed and recorded by North Devon District Council Rescue Archaeology Unit in 1987. Other details: NDDC RAU site 30.

Early 19th century. Three storeys stuccoed. Slate roof with one gabled dormer. Moulded eaves cornice. Three sashes with glazing bars intact and moulded architraves. Central doorcase with cornice and pilasters, semicircular fanlight and six-panelled door, two of them cut away and glazed.
