Vis=4/6/1973 (os) the os 2" x 6" appear to be the only documentary evidence for this castle.1907 os maps have open circle drawn on ms map 1806-1807 (higham).

Hayne Castle. Haine Castle (site of).

No historical information available. The site is now under plough and there are no surface remains. Site visit 22/01/1951.

The OS 2" and 6" (1907) appear to be the only documentary evidence for this castle. The OS siting is located on a hilltop. Comment, 04/06/1973.
