Full description
Worth, R. H., 1949, The Moorstone Age, Part 1, 329 (Article in Serial). SDV274816.
Rare upper stone in parish church. 146 millimetres diameter, 60 millimetres maximum thickness, feed hole diameter 31 millimetres. The under surface is not plane but concave to the extent of 10 millimetres. Underside recessed for an iron plate, 10 millimetres deep. The trough in the understone would not have had a greater diameter than 152 millimetres, or greater depth of 25 millimetres.
