Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A curvilinear ditched enclosure of probable prehistoric to Roman date was visible on aerial photographs as a cropmark on the south-east facing slopes overlooking the Culm valley, south of Bradninch. The enclosure measures up to circa 47 metres across at its widest point. A break in the cropmark on the southern edge of the enclosure might represent an entrance but further work would be required to confirm this interpretation. The enclosure might be associated with linear cropmarks to the north-west.
