Vis=7/3/1991 (robinson) site lies on level ground. Possible very low mound (dprfp).

A ring ditch of probable later prehistoric to Roman date was visible on aerial photographs of 1984 onwards as a cropmark on a south-facing combe slope overlooking a tributary to the River Clyst to the west-south-west of Weaver Cross. The cropmark was up to circa 2.5 metres wide and enclosed an area roughly 10 metres in diameter.
