(31/1/1979) The cairn, the centre of which is offset from the line of the row by about 0.6m, has a diameter of 10.3m and a height of 1.0m. There are ten stones of the retaining circle all at the base of the mound. There is a small depression in the top. Surveyed at 1:10 000 on PFD and at 1:500 for AO Records.

Encircled cairn. Ring of orthostats 11.5m diameter around cairn 7.7m in diameter and 0.7m high. Aligned north-west of centre of stone row. Ring stones set leaning outwards, some on trigger stones.

(SX 5926 6705) Survives as a 9m diameter mound standing up to 0.9m high. A central hollow, measuring 3m by 2.3m by 0.7m deep, represents the site of robbing or a partial early excavation. Surrounding the mound is a ring of 12 upright stones set 1.5m from its periphery. This type of cairn is described by Turner as encircled.

Drizzlecombe stone row cairn '2' at SX59266705 of 9.2 metres diameter by 1.0 metres high has a deep central hollow exposing a mass of small stones at the centre. It is surrounded by a ring of eleven well separated slabs one or two metres outside its base.

Terminal cairn at the north-eastern end of Drizzlecombe Row Worth 19. Aligned almost on the centre of the row. 0.6-0.7 metres high with diameters of 8.5 by 9.0 metres. Its flattish top, about 5.0 metres across, has a central excavation pit, 2.5 - 3.0 metres wide and up to 0.6 metres deep. Upcast may have heightened the mound but there are no prominent spoil heaps. 17 fairly earth fast stones are visible around the cairn of which at least 4 may be displaced.

(22/08/1999) The stone row and the cairn are as described and depicted on a large scale plan by Quinnell (1995). In recent years a number of portable boulders have been inserted into some of the gaps in the stone row. A notable feature of the cairn is that the remnants of the kerb lie between 1.0m and 1.4m beyond the perimeter of the mound.
