Memorials in the church to members of the Cornish family. Descriptions given.

Diocesan Advisory Committee, 1995, North Huish, Devon. St Mary's Church (Correspondence). SDV352016.

Proposal to transfer five memorials to members of the Cornish family from the closed church of St Mary, North Huish to the private church of St James, Avonwick.
1. Hubert Cornish, died 25th August 1832. White marble with a black marble surround.
2. James Cornish, died 6th October 1837 and Priscilla his wife, died 13th April 1833. White marble with a black marble surround.
3. William Floyer Cornish, died 26th August 1830 and Charlotte Cornish his sister, died 27th November 1822. White marble with a black marble surround.
4. James Cornish 1792-1865 and James Hubert his only son, 1847-1849. Brass on a black marble surround.
5. Elizabeth Anne Cornish wife of James Cornish, 1816 - 1891. Pink marble with mosaic panels.
