Hut 10 is a nearly circular hut measuring 3.0 -3.6 meters in diameter; with walls 0.7 meters high. The wall is faced internally with edge-set slabs on south-west, south-east and east, all but one of which now lean inwards. On the north side is a low bank of consolidated wall material. Behind the facing slabs is a jumble of packing stones and rubble fill. A large earth-fast block is utilised in the north-western arc. There is no obvious entrance to this hut and it shares a common wall with hut 11 to the north-east (sx78sw/49/14), although the precise relationship is uncertain.

Gerrard, S., 1995, 140322 (Site Visit). SDV321021.

One of two hut circles (see also PRN43907). Both are of the conjoined plan and single orthostat walling type. The interior of the western structure is 3.6 meters in diameter and is defined by a 1.5 meter wide wall standing up to 0.7 meters high. A 2.0 meter wide and 0.3 meter high lynchet linking this hut to hut (PRN43905) may represent the site of a partition within the enclosure. This circle was not excavated by the Dartmoor Exploration Committee. Other details: MPP/140315 13/3/1996.
