Pattison, P., 1991, A Survey of Grimspound, Manaton Parish, Devon, 6 (Report - Survey). SDV304224.

Hut 21 measures 2.5 - 2.75 meters in diameter; with walls 0.2 meters high. The original shape of the hut is unclear, but surviving stones adopt a sub-circular plan. The wall is fragmented and a mostly displaced ring of large stones and boulders, though a small portion of associated earth and stone bank material remains on the north-west. No entrance can be traced and there are no visible internal features. Hut 20 lies immediately to the west; the two may have been conjoined. No record of excavation.

Gerrard, S., 1995, 140322 (Site Visit). SDV321021.

One of two hut circles (see also PRN43916). Both are terraced into the hill slope and are of the single orthostat walling type. The relationship between the two buildings is unclear and they may either have been free-standing or conjoined. The interior of the eastern hut measures 2.75 meters in diameter and the surrounding wall is 1.0 meter wide and stands 0.2 meters high. This building was not excavated by the Dartmoor Exploration Committee. Other details: MPP/140308 11/1/1996.
