Full description

Pattison, P., 1991, A Survey of Grimspound, Manaton Parish, Devon, 6 (Report - Survey). SDV304224.

Hut 24 is vaguely sub-circular in shape and measures 2.5 - 3.0 meters in diameter. The wall shows signs of considerable collapse and displacement. There are no internal facing stones remaining in situ but two large semi-recumbent slabs on the north margin and three other stones on the east, south and west probably formed part of the external facing. There is no identifiable entrance to this circle, which lies less than 0.5 meters south south-west of Hut 23, but is not linked.

Gerrard, S., 1995, 140322 (Site Visit). SDV321021.

Hut circle at SX70078089 of the simple plan and single orthostat walling type. Interior is 3.0 meters in diameter and is defined by a 1.2 meter wide wall standing up to 0.7 meters high. This hut was not excavated by the Dartmoor Exploration Committee. Other details: MPP/140312 11/1/1996.
