SMR record possible barrow, described as small bracken covered oval mound 6 metres by 12 metres by 0.3 metre–4 metre high. Mound described not located at given grid reference during field survey. Slightly further to east, however, at grid reference SY 1503 9616, are two mounds 14 metres –16 metres east/west by 4– 6 metres north/ south, with a vehicle track in between. The north mound is covered with long tussocky grass and the south mound is covered with dense heather and gorse. It may be that the mound described on the SMR is represented by one of these features.
