Devon County Council, 1992, Weak Clapper Bridge Consultation, 747 (Report - non-specific). SDV321415.

(16/10/1992) Bridge described as clapper bridge at SX 752 856.

Stead, P. M., 1993, Archaeological Assessment of Devon County Council Clapper Bridges, 7 (Report - Survey). SDV138740.

Brinning Bridge. Two spans. Mortared and very well faced,19th century or later. Underside of lintels inaccessible. Feather and tare throughout.

Exeter Museums Archaeological Field Unit, 1993, Dartmoor Clapper Bridge Survey (Archive - Survey). SDV138745.

(11/01/1993) Brinning SX 752 856 On upstream side, single span with abutments. Downstream side incorporates second span fed by minor stream into which has been inserted large ceramic pipe. Present bridge appears to have incorporated this span from outset. Pier built onto gravel bed. Random rubble parapet walls well faced, with coping stones secured with iron clamps.
