See sketch in archive.

A cropmark defining a sub-square or pentagonal shape was visible on aerial photographs of 1947 on the south-east facing slopes to the south-east of Collyhayes Farm, Awliscombe. A cropmark defining a similar but not identical form was also visible on aerial photographs of 1950 in this general location. No cropmark was noted on any other image available to the survey. The cropmark is interpreted as probably non-archaeological in origin, most likely caused by rising groundwater.
