This central feature shown as 'King's Oven' on 19th century map.

Site visited on 20th June 1985. Unfinished millstone lying near the centre of the Prehistoric enclosure to the north-west of the Warren House Inn to which the name 'King's Oven has become attached. In appearance an prdinary grist millstone.

'Millstone' in the centre of King's Oven. A mound of stones once stood at the centre but these were used to construct the mine buildings nearby and only a roughed-out millstone remains there.
