Full description

Royal Commission for the Historical Monuments of England, 1987-1993, Duchy Farms Project Survey Visit (Report - Survey). SDV350839.

Visited on 2nd December 1987. Hut '5' at SX54027698 of 4 metres internal diameter and levelled in to the slope to a depth of 0.5 metres. The front has been built up and the wall of boulder and stone construction is spread to 1.7 metres wide and it is 0.3 metres high. It shares a similar position, isolated from the settlement, to that of Hut '4' and it too has a narrow linear band of stones, also possibly of natural origin, on its north-east side.

Visited in February 1992. Internal diameter 4 metres. Coursed wall 1.7 metres wide, 0.3 metres high. Short lengths of boundary wall lead to north and west.
