Undergraduate palynology thesis by Ben Gillett on peat deposit on the hillside east of Culmstock Beacon. Initiation of peat development throught to have occurred within the last 2,500 years. Dated through pollen zonation. No radiocarbon or dendrochronological dates available for this deposit.
