Pattison, P., 1987, Settlement north-east of Cox Tor - Field Investigation (Report - Assessment). SDV241190.

Visited on 1st December 1987. Hut circle 'E' at SX53617651 of 2.3 to 3.1 metres internal diameter. This feature is a jumble of stone rubble of varying sizes and set at all angles suggesting disturbance and robbing. The walls range in width from 1.3 to 3.5 metres and there is a substantial stone mass 4.2 metres wide forming the north-eastern arc; there is perhaps a small annexe hidden here or else extraneous material dumped in the angle between the hut and the enclosure wall which strikes north from it. The interior is largely filled with scattered stone but is terraced into the slope to 0.5 metres. A possible entrance site, now only 0.5 metres wide, can be seen in the south-east wall.

Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., MPP (Report - Survey). SDV277946.

Visited in 1992. Internal diameter 3.1 metres. Rubble bank wall 3.5 metres wide, 0.5 metres high. Doorway to south-east. Substantial stone mass, 4.2 metres wide, forming north-east arc of building may indicate presence of an annexe. Boundary walls lead north and south from this structure
