Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950, SX57SE19 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV219145.

Hut circle J measures 8.5 meters in diameter, with walls measuring 1.5 meters wide, remaining to a height of 0.5 meters. A large circle composed mainly of large boulders; of double walled type in fair condition, which appears to have been pillaged for stone. The entrance is apparently on the south side.

A hut circle within a large partially enclosed settlement. Terraced into the hill slope and is of the simple plan and double orthostat walling type. Interior measures 7.0 metres in diameter and is defined by a 1.8 metre wide wall standing up to 0.8 metres high.
