Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950, SX57SE19 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV219145.

Hut circle GG (SX 5546 7494) measures 10.0 metres, with 1.0 metre wide walls remaining to a height of 0.3 metres. Double walled, large circle, much despoiled for stone. Condition fair, entrance not apparent.

Hut circle within a large partially enclosed settlement; terraced into the hill slope and is of the simple plan and single orthostat walling type. Interior measures 5.2 metres in diameter and is defined by a 1.4 metre wide wall standing up to 0.5 metres high, except around the west side where partial robbing has removed a 3.0 metre length of the wall.
