Summary

Small hut circle within unenclosed settlement north of Hart Tor. Terraced into the hillslope and is of the simple plan and single orthostat walling type. The interior of the structure measures 4.1 metres in diameter and is defined by a 1.5 metres wide wall standing up to 0.4 metres high. The doorway faces south and is partly blocked.

24/8/1950 (SX 5815 7241). Hut B/1. Very small circle (3.0m diameter), it lies adjacent to hut south of this group. Entrance appears to be to the south, condition good. It is constructed of large granite stones set on edge forming a single wall type hut.

This monument includes 36 stone hut circles dispersed within an irregular aggregate field system situated on a gentle west-facing slope overlooking the valley of the River Meavy and forming part of a large unenclosed stone hut circle settlement between Hart Tor and Devil's Bridge.
