Polygonal pillbox visible on Royal Air Force aerial photograph of 1948. Appears to be a Type FW3/24 facing north-east to cover the perimeter of Axminster. Part of the Axminster fortified area on the Taunton Stop Line.

A roughly square structure, circa 5 metres in plan with a possible entrance and blast wall on the north side, is visible on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. Its location suggests it is part of the Second World War Taunton Stop Line. The area in which it was sited has since been developed for housing.
