Vis=20/8/1993 (simpson and blackmore) a large mound was identified on an air photo (aph) which still survives and seems to be comprised of large stones. There is a projection to the se. This field is recorded as kiln close in the tithe apportionment book and the mound may therefore be what survives of the kiln. Rough measurements in archive (emafu).
