Summary

Hut circle terraced into hillslope. Simple plan and double orthostat walling. Internal diameter 6.7m. Wall 2m wide, 0.7m high. Doorway to south-south-east, partly blocked and clearly lined with slabs. Re-used during post-Medieval period, when upper part rebuilt in drystone and earlier doorway blocked.
Lies within irregular aggregate field system, and is one of the few not associated with a contemporary boundary wall. In the Medieval period this hut lay immediately next to a strip boundary bank.
