A scatter of prehistoric flints was found here (tithe map number 827 : bowdens) by n. Pearce. A total of 475 pieces was collected (160 flint, 315 chert) including flint: 16 scrapers; chert: 23 scrapers, 1 possible knife, 1 blade, 4 awls (emafu).
