Summary

A quadrant of the supposed reservoir which served mill 'a' was investigated by dtrg in 1993. The apparent clay lining on the slope of the reservoir was 20-30mm thick and sat above an iron pan. The clay, which may be tin slimes, has been sampled (greeves).
