Name:Pillow mound west of Great Trowlesworthy Tor

Summary

Within Trowlesworthy Warren; thought to be the oldest warren on Dartmoor. Pillow mound measures 24m by 5.5m by 0.6m high, flat topped, sub-rectangular mound of stone and earth surrounded by a 3m wide and 0.4m deep ditch. A vermin trap and animal run lie immediately south of this mound.

(13/04/1995) SX 5759 6427. Pillow mound measures 24m by 5.5m by 0.6m high, flat topped, sub-rectangular mound of stone and earth surrounded by a 3m wide and 0.4m deep ditch. A vermin trap and animal run lie immediately south of this mound.
