Milestone, on Exeter Road at the junction with Raleigh Road on paved area near lamp post. Badly worn, inscribed ‘1 Mile to Teignmouth Miles to Exeter M. F. P.12.5.?'. M. F. P. stands for miles, furlongs and poles. All surviving stones (on this route) were placed by the Teignmouth and Dawlish Turnpike Trust in circa 1823.
