Summary

Built into a stonefaced earthern field wall at SX 64557999 is a stone gatepost (of Worths type 'B' see SX 67 NW 175) (1953) with three L shaped slots on its E face. It is 1.3m high, 0.4m wide and 0.2m thick. It has two iron hinge pivots on its S face.

(18/07/1989) Built into a stonefaced earthern field wall at SX 64557999 is a stone gatepost (of Worths type 'B' see SX 67 NW 175) (1953) with three L shaped slots on its E face. It is 1.3m high, 0.4m wide and 0.2m thick. It has two iron hinge pivots on its S face.
Its opposing post has fallen down but its slots can be felt (Greeves, 1983).
