Stead, P. M. + Matthews, A. J., 1994, Town Farm, Lydford (Worksheet). SDV233275.

Site visited between 4th to 8th August 1994. Level of subsoil within site adjacent to Town Farm house was higher than external road level. This suggests that the main road into Lydford had developed as a hollow way prior to its surfacing with tarmac.
