(05/09/1993) The remains of an artillery observation post lie 1300m S of East Mill Tor on gently sloping ground overlooking the East Okement River at SX 5989 8849. The remains comprise a roughly circular stony mound measuring 15m N-S by 16m and a maximum of 1.2m high. A mortared stone wall is visible slightly east of centre and fragments of timber and precast concrete lie on the SE margin.
