Summary
Approximately 0.06 ha of disturbed ground on the moderate E-facing slope 130m SE of Manga Rock. Several pits up to 6.0m across and 0.9m deep and the upcast debris probably represent random tin prospecting. They do not however resemble the usual methods of tin working visible in this part of Dartmoor.

(08/03/1990) SX 6372 8571. Approximately 0.06 ha of disturbed ground on the moderate E-facing slope 130m SE of Manga Rock. Several pits up to 6.0m across and 0.9m deep and the upcast debris probably represent random tin prospecting. They do not however resemble the usual methods of tin working visible in this part of Dartmoor.
