Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1977, SX68SW15 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV257039.

Two barrows with pits near and somewhere to the south of Grey Wethers (SX 68 SW 1). I have not surveyed them (Worth, R. H., 1948).
(03/03/1977) Almost certainly the two barrows lying respectively south and east of Grey Wethers (SX 68 SW 18 and SX 68 SW 29).

Royal Commission for the Historical Monuments of England, 1987-1993, Duchy Farms Project Survey Visit, M. J. Fletcher (Report - Survey). SDV350839.

(03/09/1990) The two barrows were not identified in the indicated area. Two cairns, previously unpublished (SX 68 SW 88, 110) lie to the S and SW of the circles at (SX 64078284 and SX 63478263 respectively. Both have been disturbed but neither resemble earthen barrows.
