Full description
PENWARDEN, 1995, Finds from Slade Mead, Bovey Tracey, (28/9/1995) (Worksheet). SDV296656.
Local tradition of iron smelting having taken place here. Ash and slag from iron working lies 0.30 - 0.45 metres deep in surrounding fields, and is particularly visible in hedgebanks.
