Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
Fort Hill depicted on the Tithe Map with several outbuildings and a lodge at its main entrance of Goodleigh Road to the north.

Forthill House marked on 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map, comprising a large house with a range of outbuildings on its north east sides and gardens, mainly on the south side with a lodge on what is now Chanters Hill. There is another lodge (marked as such on the 1904-1906 Ordnance Survey map) at the main entrance off Goodleigh Road to the north.
