Full description
Royal Air Force, 1947, CPE/UK 1989 (Aerial Photograph). SDV337513.
The 1947 RAF aerial photographs show Berry Castle itself, but the prints are very poor quality and do not elucidate the surrounding area. Other details: DCC Nos 20/23-4.

Possible deserted medieval settlement. Slight traces of levelled platforms around the earthwork of Berry Castle look as though they could be the remains of a medieval settlement. They have been ploughed over. Aerial photography highly desirable.
