Full description
Hall, M. E. P., 1994, Archaeological Evaluation of a Proposed Development Site Adjoining the Admiral Vernon Public House, Chudleigh Road, Alphington (Report - Evaluation). SDV355139.
The Admiral Vernon Nnn was at one time the church house. The present building shows a number of elements indicative of a late-medieval plan, although visible features are no earlier than the mid-to-late 17th century (hall).
