A probable enclosure of prehistoric to Romano-British date is visible as a series of cropmark ditches on specialist oblique aerial photographs of 1984, to the southwest of Remberton. The single-ditched enclosure is sited on gentle southeast facing slope, is sub-oval in shape and measures approximately 31m in length by 26m in width, with faint traces of a possible entrance along its southern edge. Both the western and eastern sides of the enclosure were not visible on the aerial photographs, with the eastern edge likely being obscured by a change in geology. Faint traces of a possible cropmark ditch to the west may represent part of an associated feature. The cropmark enclosure was not visible on other aerial photographs consulted during the survey.
