Gerrard, S., 1993-2010, Monument Protection Programme Alternative Action Report (Report - non-specific). SDV145710.

Visited on 8th May 1978. The total length of the monument is probably not more than 5 metres (from memory) and a width of about 2 metres.

A curious almost rectangular setting of slab like stones. If they were in a circle they would be likely to be a retaining circle round a cist or barrow. They face destruction from clayworking as they are sited immediately below the lower leat. This monument does not conform exactly with known types of prehistoric monuments, but a prehistoric date for it seems likely, especially in view of its proximity to enclosures and hut circles a short distance to the north.
