Full description

Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., MPP 140702 (Report - Survey). SDV277946.

Site visited on 12th April 1995. The northern hut survives as a 1.4 metre wide and 0.5 metre high rubble bank surrounding a 7.3 metre diameter internal area. This structure is joined to the enclosure wall though the relationship between these 2 features is not clear.

Hut Circle at SX 57596422. A large hut circle measuring 8.0 metres north to south by 7.5 metres with walls 1.2 metres wide and 0.25 metres high. The interior has largely been infilled for reuse as a bury.
