Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1977, SX57SE23 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV240621.

Remains of stone circle (H. Breton, 1950).
Does not exist (R. H. Worth, 1950).
This stone circle was not found during investigation and worth's comment is probably correct. The Reverend H Breton supplied information to Crawford in the 1920s and 1930s and much has been found to be erroneous (N. V. Quinnell, 22/8/1977).

Radcliffe, B., 2002, Concerning stone circle north of Crazy Well Pool (Un-published). SDV240627.

Site still visible at SX58257055. Possibly the remains of a stone circle.

Wessex Archaeology, 2002, Cramber Tor Training Area Rapid Condition Survey, WA119 (Report - Survey). SDV354588.

Cramber Tor Survey 2002, Site WA119.

Newman, P., 2007, Cramber Tor Training Area Monument Baseline Condition Survey (Report - Survey). SDV348210.

Doubtful site of an alleged stone circle of the Bronze Age period. Part of the site is now taken up by Crazy Well Pool which would have destroyed the monument if it had ever existed.
