Francis, P., 1995, Blackdown Hills Airfield Survey. Dunkeswell and Upottery., 105 (Report - Survey). SDV312951.

Operations block. Construction: this design was the final amdgw operations block built on nearly all new bomber airfields after 1943. Also replaced existing buildings on airfields up-graded from bomber satellite to "class a" bomber stations. Built of rendered permanent brick with concrete roof, all entrances protected by blast walls and entry was via air-locks. This is the only surviving building on the administration site. It appears to be in good condition (figures 30-31 and plate 16) (francis).
