Engineer Obstacle Course recorded on U.S. Army plans.

Compact area of barbed wire backed by revetted step and concrete wall shown on photographs in Wasley. This is referred to as part of the Woolacombe Training Base, but the picture is at Braunton.

The Engineer Obstacle Course was in the beach dunes of Sea Holly Humps to the north of J Lane, but has been swept away by the sea leaving little evidence of one of the most important training aids of the whole assault training centre. Two sections of concrete wall built so that one could be being demolished in training whilst the other was being rebuilt.
