Training Aid 22 recorded on U.S. Army plans.

Training Aid 22 is a cluster of pillboxes at the end of Southern Ridge.

A mound was located at Training Aid 22 at SS45343328.

Miller, D., 2006, World War Two Features Annotated onto Braunton Burrows Habitat Map (Cartographic). SDV339606.

'Remnants', 'Surface Rubble', 'Pillbox', 'Barbed Wire', 'Posts', 'Mound' and 'Concrete' are annotated onto the Braunton Burrows Habitat Map in the area between Ugly Lump Slack and Pebble Slack.

Training aids 22, 25 and 26 recorded on us army plans. 3 separate clusters of pillbox ruins lie in roughly north-south line to west of churchill track. 26 is at head of ugly lump slack. 25 at head of doughnut slack. 22 at end of south ridge.

At NGR 45343328 there are several mounds in the base of a slack. There is no debris visible and these may be natural features.
