Wirecutting range recorded on U.S. Army plans.

This lies in Five Ponds Slack, and rusting wire can still be found throughout the area as well as wire supports known locally as "curly-wurlys". Trained wire cutting parties of four infantrymen.

Visited 2009. Along the south side of a slack are a number of mounds from which project a number of steel barbed wire support posts with multiple 'curled' section. The slack is fairly flat and has been grazed recently. It is possible that the mounds represent clearance of remains prior to grazing; it is unlikely that the posts are in situ.
