(09/05/1996) SX 6070 6697 Two cairns lying north east of the Langcombe Brook. Round cairn, diameter 4.4 metres height 0.4 metres. Robbed. Central pit 1.8 metres square. Butler shows this structure as a hut, but it is probably a cairn. Rushes in interior, grass and heather.

Site '2' at Langcombe valley includes two hut circles on the south side of a fragment of an enclosure. This western hut of circa 3.5 metres diameter is the larger of the two.
