Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
Site of a 'Stone' shown on Ordnance Survey 25 inch map on the north side of the road to the east of Sequer's Bridge. The road marks the boundary between Modbury & Ermington Parishes.

County Bridge Stone dug up during roadworks about 300 yards east of Flete Eastern gate near Modbury. Granite, finely chiselled face, inscribed with the letter 'C'. Now reset into the bank close to site where excavated in 1987.
