HER Number:MDV59588
Name:Round cairn 750 metres north-west of Harter Hill, Okehampton Hamlets

Summary

A robbed cairn north-west of Harter Hill above the bank of the Black-a-ven Brook. Remains as of a turf-covered stony mound leaving only traces of a stony core. Some excavated material has been dumped on the eastern and northern fringes of the feature while it seems likely that most of the removed material was used in the nearby newtake wall. There is no evidence to suggest the former presence of a cist or kerb.
