(29/01/1998) Length of leat cutting through a cairnfield 380m sw of a ford on the small brook (mpp). Within the monument this leat measures 1.2m wide by 0.3m deep and the associated downslope bank is 2m wide and 0.3m high. This leat probably carried water to the tinwork on the small brook (gerrard).
